The police department consists of eleven sworn full time officers.
The department provides 24-hour daily police coverage to Township of Bern.

At othertimes call 911 for emergency or call 610-655-4911 for all non-emergencies.

A police dispatcher will ask you:

- your name
- address
- phone number
Please give the dispatcher an accurate description of:
- what is taking place
- where it is taking place
- the names or descriptions of any persons or vehicles involved.
Please remain calm so the police dispatcher can assist you in an efficient manner.
Given the priority of the incident described, a police officer will respond to your location or contact you by telephone to obtain any necessary information and advise you how to proceed.
